Working with schools
We work in partnership with schools across the UK, providing one-to-one tuition and targeted support for students who are underperforming or would benefit from additional help outside the classroom.
Online sessions are available for students nationwide, and for those who benefit from face-to-face support, we have centres in Northampton and Nottingham.
We support students of all abilities and backgrounds, including those in receipt of pupil premium funding.
Pupil Premium
Schools are required to allocate pupil premium funding across three key areas:

Supporting high-quality teaching, including staff professional development
Providing targeted academic support, such as tutoring
Tackling non-academic barriers to success e.g. attendance, behaviour and social and emotional wellbeing

How that funding is spent is a decision for individual schools - and that's where Bauhaus comes in. With a decade of experience supporting disadvantaged pupils, we work alongside schools to help those students achieve their full potential, whatever their starting point.
Our school partnership offer
For every five students referred to Bauhaus for one-to-one tuition (from one hour per week), we offer schools a sixth place free of charge. It's our way of making the most of pupil premium budgets while ensuring more young people get the support they need.
Beyond pupil premium
We also work with students who simply need a little extra support to build confidence and get back on track - whether that's help with a particular subject, preparation for exams, or support through a difficult period.

Enrolment Package
Every student who joins Bauhaus begins with a structured induction, which gives us a clear picture of where they are and how best to support them.

The induction includes a cognitive assessment for KS2 and KS3 students that identifies each student's individual profile across key areas including memory, attention and concentration, executive function, planning, and coordination. This isn't a test to pass or fail - it's a tool that helps us understand how a student learns, where their strengths lie, and where targeted support will make the biggest difference. Each student receives printed materials to support their learning from the outset.
For KS4 and A Level students, the induction is focused on providing relevant workbooks and past exam papers, so they are ready to get to work straight away.
When schools refer pupils to Bauhaus we offer 50% off our Student Induction/ Enrolment Package, usually priced £70.
Working with your Local Authority
Local Authorities have a statutory duty to ensure that children and young people who are unable to attend mainstream school continue to receive a suitable, full-time education. Bauhaus Education is an experienced and trusted partner for Local Authorities looking to meet that duty effectively.
We work with a range of learners who fall outside traditional school settings, including:
School refusers and young people experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)
Pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) requiring specialist provision
Children in care supported by Virtual Schools
Medically absent pupils needing interim education
Young people at risk of becoming NEET
Our flexible model means provision can be delivered online or face-to-face at our centres in Northampton and Nottingham, with individual learning plans, regular progress reports, and data-driven reviews to support multi-agency working.

We are OFSTED registered and an approved examination centre for AQA and Edexcel, meaning students can work towards recognised qualifications - including GCSEs, A-Levels, and Functional Skills.
